2009 is flying by!

WOW! We have done so much, it's hard to keep up with it all! Since my last post, we have had our Blue Ribbon ceremony, 100th day of school, Jog-A-Thon, and the Love Bug Valentine's Day celebration! I have included some pictures below.
It is so wonderful to be in the digital age, where we can capture learning instantly and be able to share with the world. I am amazed at the level of questioning our children have, at the discoveries they make, at the kindness they share. Our class is such an amazing place to be each day! Check out some of the wonderful things we have done recently!

Sammy, Sydney, and Kishen look on during First grade's Science Day. This led us to our science fair project; Which heat source will melt ice the fastest?

Kishen, Tori and Jocelyn jump rope 10 times as part of our 100th day celebration. They had to do 10 different things 10 times to make 100!

Using problem solving skills, the children make 100th day glasses out of pipe cleaners!
